Storm wins B2B food waste business brief

Bio Collectors, a food waste collector and recycler, has brought in Storm Communications to manage a B2B and corporate thought leadership programme to raise awareness of its offering.

The campaign will position Bio Collectors as a leader in food waste management and promote its environmentally-friendly, anaerobic digestion, recycling facility in Mitcham, South London, and raise awareness of its collection service.

Storm will target the food and drink manufacturing, grocery, HoReCa (hotels, restaurants and catering companies) and waste management media during the campaign, as well as the national and local press. The agency will also secure speaking opportunities for Bio Collectors at key trade events.

Adam Craig, Storm’s senior account director, who will lead the account, said: “There will always be food and drink that needs to be thrown away, whether it’s at the point of manufacture or in households.

“How we dispose of that waste has a great impact on the environment, so we’re delighted to be helping Bio Collectors raise its profile and deliver its messaging to stakeholders across the food and drink industry.”
