Newgate appointed for Atalaya Mining financial brief
Atalaya Mining, a European mining and development company, has instructed Newgate Communications to provide financial and investor communications.
Atalaya’s major asset is the Riotinto copper mine in Huelva province, Spain.
The brief includes regular financial communications as well as enhancing the UK Capital Markets profile of Atalaya, which is listed on London’s AIM market as well as Canada’s TSX.
Charlie Chichester, senior partner at Newgate, is leading the team, assisted by consultants James Ash and James Browne.
Atalaya reached commercial production at Riotinto in February 2016 and is looking to expand capacity at the mine. It has also exercised an option on Proyecto Touro in the northwest of Spain and is focusing on a pre-feasibility study and the permitting process.
